2010 is the 4th and final year of the ESTOOLS contract with the European Commission to investigate the fundamental biology and scientific application of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells. As the finale of the project, the ESTOOLS partners will hold a major 2-day International Scientific Symposium and also the 3rd and final Ethics Workshop. Outreach activities are being planned to engage school-age students and the wider public. The photo-exhibition Smile of a Stem Cell will be in Lisbon.
