ESTOOLS organised workshops for its members in order to better standardize the research protocols and to keep all ESTOOLS scientists up to date with the most recent technologies.


The 1st workshop organized by ESTOOLS was done in Sheffield Centre for Stem Cell Biology on Fluorescent Activated Cell Sorting technology (FACS), on May the 9-11th, 2007. Representatives of our partners in Stockholm, Helsinki, Turku, Amsterdam, Cambridge, Oxford, London, Dresden, Brno and Jerusalem attended. Program here

 


The 2nd workshop was organized in the Technical University of Dresden, on advanced recombineering techniques, on September 3-7th, 2007. 17 participants from Sheffield, Edinburgh, Basel, Jerusalem, Turku, Bonn, Brno, Stockholm, Helsinki, Cambridge and London participated. Program here

 


The 3rd workshop was organized in Stockholm by Karolinska Institute 24-25 August 2009 on culture systems used by ESTOOLS laboratories, attended by scientists from partners in Sheffield, Stockholm, Edinburgh, Brno, Helsinki, Turku, SCS, Milan.


The 4th workshop was organized in Bonn by University of Bonn 2-4 December 2009 at the Life & Brain Center on working with iPS cells, attended by scientists from partners in Sheffield, Jerusalem, Milan, Barcelona, Brno, Stockholm, Helsinki and Cambridge.


We also run Ethics workshops opened to the public.

The ESTOOLS project completed its 4 years of activity. This website remains online as a reference archive.
