Four lectures - two in Bulgarian and two in English - covering an introduction stem cells, the situation in Bulgaria, ethics and the future prospects for applications of embryonic stem cell engineering. were given by specialists from Britain, Sweden and Bulgaria.
The lectures provided an introduction for students from the First English Language School in Sofia as preparation for their T.E.L.E.S.C.O.P.E. event discussions and video-conference with Liberton School in Edinburgh on 17 November.
