The Anne McLaren Award, in memory of the late Dame Anne McLaren, member of the Ethics Advisory Panel, was created in June 2007.
It recognises an outstanding multi-disciplinary contribution within ESTOOLS activities to human embryonic stem cell research.
At the ESTOOLS consortium meeting in Lisbon on 26 May 2010, the Ethics Advisory Board decided to recognise the following people for their contribution to ESTOOLS outreach activities, especially for the development and implementation of the TELESCOPE programme, with a speech by Board convenor Goran Hermeren:
(with Peter Andrews, ESTOOLS Coordinator)
Veronika Ganeva (University of Edinburgh)
Kristina Hug (Lund University)
Beata Surmacz (Imperial College, University of London) absent
Sebastien Duprat (University of Sheffield).
Congratulations!
