In its first annual meeting, ESTOOLS consortium opened its doors to the public on Friday 1st of June. Venue: Hotel International, Brno, Czech Republic.
The ESTOOLS symposium outlined existing scientific progress and discuss future advances in the field of human embryonic stem cell research.
The symposium under the theme "Understanding the biology of hESCs" offered a unique opportunity to attend lectures given by pioneering scientists, selected both from ESTOOLS consortium partners and leading scientists from the ESTOOLS science advisory panel. See the Programme. Researchers from the 20 ESTOOLS partners were also attending and available for informal discussions during coffee and lunch breaks.
