Below are the comments and feedback given by students who participated in the pilot event of the T.E.L.E.S.C.O.P.E. programme.
Differences between Leeds and Turku might be explained by an age difference (~15-16 years old in Leeds and ~17 years old in Turku).
Also, and while ES cell research was widely accepted among students in Turku, about 1/3 of the students in Leeds opposed it.
Other parameters (culture, religion, selection of speakers and facilitators, etc) might contribute but their influence cannot be estimated.
